I've read those bar-model examples you provided. That's really very good to solve word problems by using models. However, may I know if there is a standard model for solving certain kind of word problem?

For example, to solve travelling problems and age problems, are there any differences in models? If there are differences, could you please provide examples with model solutions on this forum?
