Solution:
Amount of money Anna had at first = $3 + $0.50 = $3.50
Amount of money Carol had at first = $3 + $0.25 - $0.75 = $2.50
Difference between the amount of money Anna and Carol had at first = $3.50 - $2.50 = $1
Amount of money Anna had at first = $3 + $0.50 = $3.50
Amount of money Carol had at first = $3 + $0.25 - $0.75 = $2.50
Difference between the amount of money Anna and Carol had at first = $3.50 - $2.50 = $1
